Class A Low Boy Truck Driver

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Class A Low Boy Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating low boy trailers and transporting heavy equipment related to railroad construction. This position plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of equipment to and from job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle with a low boy trailer to transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites, including railroad construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and other equipment to prevent damage or loss during transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely arrivals at job sites.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or property.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must have experience loading and unloading heavy equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Pay:
Compensation Dependent on experience $33-$35/Hour
