Maintenance Mechanic
University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of campus facilities. Candidate would be responsible for working on: structural, electrical, HVACR, and plumbing systems. The following skills are preferred, but not required: experience in control systems, tradesman certification, and knowledge of OSHA requirements. Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and a CFC Certification is preferred. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
Custodian
University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a Custodian - (hours are from 5:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Tuesday - Saturday). Responsible for performing various housekeeping tasks in student and common areas of the University. Responsibilities require the operation of commercial buffers, vacuum cleaners, and carpet cleaning equipment. Must be able to lift or move materials or furniture weighing approximately 100 pounds. One-year experience in housekeeping required. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
