Partner Success Manager, Maryland

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

About the Role

The ASSISTments Foundation, a fast-growing math edtech non-profit, is seeking a passionate and multi-skilled instructional leader to support the adoption and effective implementation of ASSISTments in Maryland Public Schools.

You'll serve as the primary point of contact and support for our Maryland partner districts, schools and teachers, and act as the critical connection between partners and our staff as the only local employee. You will be a pivotal leader in work that will advance equitable math outcomes for tens of thousands of middle school students.

This role reports to the Director of Teacher Engagement at The ASSISTments Foundation.

About the ASSISTments Foundation (TAF)

TAF is a non-profit dedicated to improving student learning by scaling ASSISTments, a math practice and assessment platform. ASSISTments allows teachers to assign online from high quality instructional materials, like Illustrative Math, enhancing the experience with immediate feedback for students and actionable data for teachers. It is one of few K-12 math tools proven effective through rigorous research, positioning it for greater scale and impact. ASSISTments is used by thousands of teachers across all 50 states. In the past two years we have increased our commitment to partnering with schools and districts, and providing high quality services that deepen the impact of the product.

Responsibilities

Support District and School Partners

  • Become an expert in all things ASSISTments

  • Build close, collaborative relationships with partner administrators, coaches and teachers to cultivate strong usage and drive impact for teachers and students

  • Plan and facilitate high-quality in-person training and impactful coaching for teachers to enhance their instructional routine with ASSISTments

  • Provide ongoing virtual support as needed to ensure successful implementation

  • Manage logistics and documentation related to supporting schools

Data and Progress Monitoring

  • Develop implementation roadmaps that articulate goals, vision and success metrics at the school and district level

  • Create and utilize systems to continuously monitor implementation success and training quality based on key performance indicators

  • Develop internal and external reports that showcase implementation progress and satisfaction across all stakeholder groups

  • Identify and communicate key learnings on resources and products to the ASSISTments team to support iteration and improvement

New partner recruitment

  • Represent ASSISTments confidently at information sessions and other engagements that build demand and excitement for our work

  • Engage and recruit new potential school and district partners

We are seeking a full-time person to support all district partners, but open to candidates seeking contract work if a strong fit for supporting one of our district partners. Please note that while this is a remote position travel will be required within the state of Maryland, therefore candidates located near central Maryland are required. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in K-12 education, preferably in math, with a focus on supporting students from diverse backgrounds

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading instructional initiatives across schools and districts (for example as an instructional coach or program manager)

  • Experience developing and facilitating high quality professional learning and coaching for math teachers

  • Experience effectively communicating (written, oral) with senior district, state and school level administrators, as well as teachers

  • Experience coordinating cross-team projects, managing timelines and stakeholders, and strategizing creative solutions towards clear goals with exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability, effectively nurturing strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders

  • Strong commitment to equity in education


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the Maryland school system

  • Knowledge of and experience with using ASSISTments (note this person would need to become expert in ASSISTments and have a strong desire to learn)

  • Knowledge and experience with Illustrative Math and/or Open Up Resources
