Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a dynamic, highly skilled Behavioral Health Advocate to provide program coordination and navigation of support services to the team of student assistance professionals providing direct services to students in response to the increasing behavioral health needs of students due to the COVID pandemic. The Behavioral Health Advocate will provide regional, district, school, and individual level guidance on accessing of appropriate resources, coordination of existing services, presentations, and brief trainings regarding behavioral health, and assist with new service implementation as guided by the statewide team and collaboration with the UW SMART Center. This is a 2-year position with potential to extend, dependent on funding.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to using a racial equity lens
- Bachelor’s degree in the below or related fields with 2 years job-related experience OR Associate’s degree with 5 years job-related experience:
- Human Services
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Counseling
- Professional experience coordinating programs focused on youth ages 10-21
- Experience collaborating with professionals from multiple disciplines with the goal of improving outcomes for children and youth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with coordinating cross-systems and with multiple disciplines
- Professional work experience working within a school environment or youth serving agency
- Experience providing presentations and training to youth and/or adult audiences

Salary: $62,666 – $72,673 (Salary Band G)
