Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide administrative support to the department chair of the Criminal Justice Department. Serve as primary receptionist to visitors and students; monitor office operations; coordinate records retention; organize department events; manage department budget; process department forms; complete online and in-seat course scheduling; manage hiring documents for new faculty and adjuncts; coordinate and schedule major field test; assist faculty with supplies, student workers, and office equipment; serve as liaison between students and faculty/advisors.
Required Education
High school diploma or high school equivalency and five years of progressively responsible administrative office experience - OR - Bachelor's degree and one year of progressively responsible administrative office experience.

Desirable Related Experience
Advanced administrative experience with previous higher education experience and advanced technical capabilities preferred.
