HIGHLANDS SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks applicants for a:
PAYROLL SECRETARY
Essential Functions:
Enters new employee information
Makes necessary adjustments to employee salaries & voluntary deductions
Balances records, payroll reports and processes checks
Files payroll-related withholding and tax reports every pay period
Makes direct deposit transfers
Prepares bills for Accounts Payable Secretary
Files quarterly reports to Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment and Wage Tax
Processes monthly reports to PSERS and VOYA
Processes year-end closing, including printing & mailing of W2s &1095s
Prints yearly attendance reports, verifying signature and correcting discrepancies
