Manager, Benefit Strategy & Administration
Location: Princeton, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage benefits strategy including participation in the selection and evaluation of vendors, review of benchmark data and communication of changes to employees.
- Actively improve the employee experience through identifying opportunities for streamlined processes and enhancing tools and education.
- Partner with vendors to enhance benefit programs resolve issues, respond to employee questions and look for opportunities to prevent future issues.
- Develop and delivery of benefits communication materials, including new hire benefits orientation.
- Manage end to end annual benefits open enrollment process.
- Assure company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- Manage preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.
- Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management.
- Develop benefit information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.
- Respond to all employee inquiries regarding benefits, LOA, FMLA and WC inquiries.
- Act as Benefits subject matter expert on questions and issues from both management and employees.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree preferred within the following disciplines (Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management). 3- 5 years of experience in Benefits Administration and Strategy. Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs, including Health Care Reform (PPACA), ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, Section 125, Workers' Comp, Social Security and DOL requirements, etc.
