Visual Supervisor - Varda Pasadena

Job Summary

The Visual Supervisor is responsible for driving the retail store business and customer experience to achieve established goals through hands-on leadership and contributions. This is a keyholder position therefore, the position assumes responsibilities like management. The Visual Supervisor is responsible for leading all visual merchandising initiatives that effectively represent the Gold Flora brand and its current strategies. The Visual Supervisor reports to the Store Manager.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.50/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute and manage all visual merchandising strategies.
• Establish standards that drive positive results.
• Set expectations on all visual standards.
• Partner with the leadership team, and corporate stakeholders to influence and execute in-store promotions and events.
• Communicate and partner with vendors on merchandising initiatives, including fixtures/displays, printed assets, and in-store activations.
• Ensure and maintain all digital and physical in-store signage is set to standard.
• Effectively demonstrate strong sales floor presence.
• Lead by example, drive positive results, create and encourage exceptional customers and the team experience.
• Tack and report the daily sales ledger, shift logs, and KPI.
• Proactively discuss accountability and coaching while providing positive feedback, when conducting performance improvements plans.
• Collaborate with the other store leaders to drive strategy and achieve goals.
• Regularly schedule leadership meetings to discuss department updates, identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and offering feedback
• Adhere to all city and state regulations and company policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-4 years of retail management experience.
• Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferred.

Work Environment

• This position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in proximity with customers and staff.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and may work in proximity with customers and staff.
• Must be able to travel to other office locations.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or city Police Department.
