Case Manager/Documentation Specialist
Are you an experienced Mental Health Case Manager with an interest in training and leadership?
BRBH is seeking a Case Management Documentation Specialist, who acts as a trainer for our Mental Health Care Coordination program. Our Case Managers assist adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder in accessing supports essential for living in the community and meeting basic needs. The Documentation Specialist manages, tracks, and disburses departmental referrals, supports and onboard new Case Managers regarding clinical documentation, coordinates administrative shadowing in conjunction with the Department Director and Direct Supervisors, and provides individual and group training in utilization and navigation of the Electronic Health Record pertaining to day to day clinical assessments related to clinical field work. This position also carries a partial caseload, and assists in guidance to Case Management staff.
Pay Range: $16.20-$27.00/hour
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma Required. Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus!
- Experience: Six (6) months of clinical experience working with adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
- Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
